CrystalDiskInfo - All You Want To Know About Your HDD

Hard disk drives are very important in a computer system, but unfortunately they are the ones that can fail and leave you with a heartache. Having a program that can show you the health of your hard disks is very useful. If you see that it's going down, back up the data and go buy a new one! CrystalDiskInfo is a freeware program that allows you to check the status of your HDDs. Let's give it a spin.



You don't need to install the program, just unpack the .zip file to a folder and you're ready to go. The package is very small to, just under 1 MB. As you can see, I have 4 hard disk drives, 3 Western Digital and one Maxtor. The information that this software provides is very good, temperature, health status and a load of other useful things.




It works on all Windows platforms starting with NT and 2000, up to Windows XP and Windows Vista.
I don't think I need to say more, this really is a good piece of freeware, very useful and reliable.
